Construction activities within the non-jurisdictional wetland areas continue to progress as follows:
The sitework contractor, J.R. Vinagro, continued rock processing and removal. They also continued building pad subgrade preparation, and foundation excavation/backfill across all areas of the new building as well as the new locker room. Additionally, utility install including water, drainage, sewer, and electric continued and new driveway access off of Hemlock Road commenced. J.L. Marshall continued formwork erection, rebar installation, and concrete placements targeting the end of June to be complete with foundations. Beacon Waterproofing continued to install sheet waterproofing/insulation/drainage board or dampproofing on available sections of foundations. Araujo Brothers Plumbing installed drainage pipe along available sections of foundations. Lighthouse Masonry continued with CMU wall installations in all areas of the building to have the walls be ready for Precast Plank installation which will be the future mezzanines for the vocational spaces. Levangie Electrical mobilized to the site to install through-wall conduit and outlet boxes within the CMU walls. Lastly, Manganaro mobilized to the site to install door frames within CMU walls. Looking ahead, the project works towards structural steel delivery and erection to start on July 8th 2024.
